I just bought a 300mm f/2.8 so now I have my Nikon 300mm f/4.0 AF ED for sale. Great lens, high quality and quick enough for car photography.

Asking price 600 euro's and the lens is worth that. Near offers will be considered though.

I am planning to buy a new SLR camera.

I want to choose between a Nikon D90 or a Sony A500.

I am an beginner. Never had a SLR before, only a compact camera. I want to use it for photograph cars on the track and standig stil in galleries or dealers. further for some overall shooting. Witch is the best to choose?

Could anywhone give me some tips?

I do not think there is a big difference between both. I would recomend the Nikon only for the reason that there is a very big market in used/new lenses.

Okay that's a good reason! I think i buy the Nikon. Most photographers recomend me a Nikon.

But what do you prefer? Nikon or Canon? What are the advantages of Nikon over Canon? You have to prepare yourself before you buy anything.
If you already have chosen for Nikon or Sony ... go for Nikon.

My uncle has an Nikon D200. it's a nice camera. And a friend of me has an Sony A500, Thats a nice camera to. Because most fotographers recomend me to buy a Nikon i would prefer a Nikon.

I touht maybe someone could give me a wise advise witch camera i would buy the best.

What is know about sony is that the stabalizer in the body is mounted. I like the nikon because the lcd screen on the top of the body. And a nice option of the Nikon is the film option.
